"Chicken for Lunch" is a painting that reflects the gap between what people perceive as legitimate and what they actually partake in. Most people will not take a chick, pluck its feathers, slaughter it, and fry it in a pan, but they will order the ready-made, cut-up chick from the supermarket and fry it with pleasure on a notebook as if it were a product.
